This Teacher is a Genius

THIS IS THE BEST SIMPLE DEMONSTRATION I HAVE EVER SEEN..... HOW GREAT!!!!

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.

The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan".

All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A...

After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.

The second test average was a D!? No one was happy.

When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.

As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.

Could not be any simpler than that. (Please pass this on) Remember, there is a test coming up. The 2012 elections.

Walt Disney World Castle Holiday Lights at the Magic Kingdom

Cinderella's Holiday Wish and Castle Dream Lights at Magic Kingdom Park

During the Cinderella’s Holiday Wish stage show, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald, Goofy, Pluto and Cinderella admire the lovely holiday decorations at the park. Then they share their ideas on how to decorate Cinderella's Castle for the season. Fairy Godmother appears to help bring Cinderella’s suggestion to life – covering the castle in glittering ice, making it look just like her special glass slippers.

You can see the show nightly at Magic Kingdom Park throughout the holiday season.

Christmas 2011 -- Birth of a New Tradition

Christmas 2011 -- Birth of a New Tradition

As the holidays approach, the giant Asian factories are kicking into high gear to provide Americans with monstrous piles of cheaply produced goods --merchandise that has been produced at the expense of American labor. This year will be different. This year Americans will give the gift of genuine concern for other Americans. There is no longer an excuse that, at gift giving time, nothing can be found that is produced by American hands. Yes there is!

It's time to think outside the box, people. Who says a gift needs to fit in a shirt box, wrapped in Chinese produced wrapping paper?

Everyone -- yes EVERYONE gets their hair cut. How about gift certificates from your local American hair salon or barber?

Gym membership? It's appropriate for all ages who are thinking about some health improvement.

Who wouldn't appreciate getting their car detailed? Small, American owned detail shops and car washes would love to sell you a gift certificate or a book of gift certificates.

Are you one of those extravagant givers who think nothing of plonking down the Benjamin's on a Chinese made flat-screen? Perhaps that grateful gift receiver would like his driveway sealed, or lawn mowed for the summer, or driveway plowed all winter, or games at the local golf course.

There are a bazillion owner-run restaurants -- all offering gift certificates. And, if your intended isn't the fancy eatery sort, what about a half dozen breakfasts at the local breakfast joint. Remember, folks this isn't about big National chains -- this is about supporting your home town Americans with their financial lives on the line to keep their doors open.

How many people couldn't use an oil change for their car, truck or motorcycle, done at a shop run by the American working guy?

Thinking about a heartfelt gift for mom? Mom would LOVE the services of a local cleaning lady for a day.

My computer could use a tune-up, and I KNOW I can find some young guy who is struggling to get his repair business up and running.

OK, you were looking for something more personal. Local crafts people spin their own wool and knit them into scarves. They make jewelry, and pottery and beautiful wooden boxes. How about a nice gift for the kids from your local American-owned slot car or radio-control raceway?

Plan your holiday outings at local, owner operated restaurants and leave your server a nice tip. And, how about going out to see a play or ballet at your hometown theater.

Musicians need love too, so find a venue showcasing local bands.

Honestly, people, do you REALLY need to buy another ten thousand Chinese lights for the house? When you buy a five dollar string of light, about fifty cents stays in the community. If you have those kinds of bucks to burn, leave the mailman, trash guy or babysitter a nice BIG tip.

You see, Christmas is no longer about draining American pockets so that China can build another glittering city. Christmas is now about caring about US, encouraging American small businesses to keep plugging away to follow their dreams. And, when we care about other Americans, we care about our communities, and the benefits come back to us in ways we couldn't imagine.

THIS is the new American Christmas tradition.

Forward this to everyone on your mailing list -- post it to discussion
groups -- throw up a post on Craigslist in the Rants and Raves section in your city -- send it to the editor of your local paper and radio stations, and TV news departments. This is a revolution of caring about each other, and isn't that what Christmas is about? Isn't that what Jesus would do?

Fried Kool-Aid - The Latest Fair Food Craze

Have you tried the latest in food crazes?  You will find this one at the concession stand at the fair.  Deep Fried Kool-Aid.  Some say it is similar to eating a doughnut.  The cherry flavored Kool-Aid is the original flavor used for this but there is talk of expanding the flavors to grape and others.

Beware of the Snake House

An Idaho couples dream home was infested with snakes.  The residence near Rexburg, Idaho, is now known locally as ''The Snake House.''  The five-bedroom house on a nearly 2-acre lot in the eastern Idaho countryside seemed like a bargain at the time.  But it wasn't long before Ben and Amber Session realized the dream home they had purchased for their growing family was their worst nightmare:  It was infested with hundreds upon hundreds of garter snakes.

Just for Laughs

Ever wonder...

Why do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke?

Why do banks leave vault doors open and then chain the pens to the counters?

Why do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage?

Why do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight?

Why do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering?

Why the sun lightens our hair, but darkens our skin?

Why can't women put on mascara with their mouth closed?

Why don't you ever see the headline 'Psychic Wins Lottery'?

Why is 'abbreviated' such a long word?

Why is it that doctors call what they do 'practice'?

Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavor, and dishwashing liquid made with real lemons?

Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?

Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour?

Why isn't there mouse-flavored cat food?

Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?

You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?!

Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport the terminal?

Why do we drive on a parkway and park in a driveway?

Happy Mother's Day!

What is a Mother?

A Mother has so many things to do, From washing, ironing, cleaning to tying a shoe. She scrubs, she mends, she cooks and sews, She bathes the children and washes their clothes. When they forget to wash their faces clean, And their clothes are the muddiest you've ever seen, Who repairs the clothes and scrubs them like new? Of course, that is what a Mother will do. Who becomes the doctor or the nurse when they are ill, Applying a bandage or giving them a pill? Who becomes a teacher when a child has homework? She must never her duty shirk. Who becomes a detective to find a toy or a book? For missing things she must look and look? Who becomes a listener to every heartache, To every accomplishment that a child makes?Who scolds their children when they are naughty, Or remind them of God when they are to haughty? Who tends her family with love and patience, too?  Of course that is what a mother will do.  - Unknown
